All music decorates a certain period of time and helps form a memory, it helps define a version of us. We're very keen to notice how this process happens, so we're sharing this collection of very diverse music with you that you can get back to anytime.

Two more years of music have passed for us bearing significant change, and this segment of time seems long enough for us to be able to draw a line, sum up and give away a carefully curated selection from our last 2 years of activity as a group of imprints under the vast Origami Sound roof.

Going through 45 releases that add up to almost 300 tracks brings a bag of mixed feelings. Just like any of us, music changes, it gets older or it stays timeless regardless of its initial impact or intentions. Some tracks grow on us while others turn out to be just a timestamp of what we liked during a specific timeframe. This selection is as personal as it gets, it's just just like our mission statement - unbound by fads or genre names.

We do this both in retrospective, to celebrate 100 favorite tracks that we've released on all 6 labels in 2013 and 2014, and also because we are looking forward to what 2015/16 will bring. What we know for sure is that this year looks very promising on our release schedule for all of our imprints.

We enter 2015 with an overall visual rebranding, 3 new imprints added to our roster - Clubwerks, FORZA and Canvas, having hosted 24 more events, thus reaching a total of 30 - and, last but not least, a website that thoroughly documents our every step on all fronts.

Whether Origami Sound is new or old to you we hope you'll enjoy this collection that should help you find at least a handful of new favorites. We can only hope this will get you hooked because we've got some really exciting plans and amazing contributors lined up for the years to come.
